Illumina- work in progress

Some work in progress photos. I just LOVE to work with her.

When the idea first popped in my mind, 5 minutes later i had all of the sculpture imagined. I knew how ill want to make her look, her not fully humanoid look, but a little creature-ish look...thus her neck is like a giraffe's and this strange body. But i just love this. I love drawing and sculpting exaggerated, but yet still somehow beautiful anatomyed bodies. ^^

I know the name Illumina doesnt fully cover 'snow' actually but i was listening to Libera while i was making her (maybe its the reason of her peaceful face? Hmmmm.) and they sang it and i thought it so really fits her

She's about 18cm like this, would be about 35cm if standing.
